What is DevOps?

DevOps refers to the methodology and strategy used to introduce automation to an environment to ensure that a project is delivered efficiently and effectively. To achieve this, certain tools are employed and certain principles and practices are adopted.

Our Strategy

We train candidates to become excellent DevOps practitioners. While some of our trainees specialize in the operations side of DevOps, others prefer to be hands-on builders of CI/CD pipelines; and some others prefer to architect and automate cloud-native technologies, deploy applications, and provision infrastructure. DevOps practitioners are highly sought after with the majority earning 6-figure salaries. Whatever path you choose to follow, we have all it takes to get you there.

As our trainee, you do not need to have prior IT background to be successful and become a tech pro. Our curriculum is structured to make you successful.

Our program is project-based; candidates get to work on clients’ projects by freelancing on our project platform.  There are also flashcards and quizzes to keep our candidates prepared for the real world out there. 

This program will run for 6 months. There will be live online sessions every Saturday and Sunday.

Our Curriculum

At the completion of this program, you will have mastery of the following:

• Understanding of Linux distributions including Ubuntu, Red Hat, etcetera.
• Understanding of Linux commands for several operations.
• Understanding of shell scripting for carrying out several operations.
• Understanding crontabs and cronjobs.
• Cloud server administration with Linux
• Understanding of cloud architecture
• Knowledge of different cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Understanding cloud infrastructure engineering using IAC tools ( Terraform and Ansible)
• Understanding version control systems using Git and GitHub
• Understanding continuous build using build tools like Maven and NPM (Node Package Manager).
• Understanding code-quality analysis using SonarQube
• Understanding artifacts management using Nexus
• Understanding continuous integration using Jenkins
• Understanding continuous delivery using Groovy scripts
• Understanding containerization of applications using Docker
• Understanding container orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm Charts
• Understanding continuous monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana
